Haven Davis
Miss ACRA
Stillwater, OK
Age: 22

Where the wind comes sweeping down the plains of Northwest Oklahoma is where 22-year-old Haven Davis, Miss American Cowboys Rodeo Association Queen calls home. Originally from Carmen, Okla., she now calls Stillwater, Okla. home as she completes her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. She is currently getting her degree in Agricultural Communications and a minor in Agricultural Leadership from Oklahoma State University.

At the age of 10-months-old, Haven rode her first horse with her grandfather and she has been on the back of one ever since. Growing up she competed in Oklahoma 4-H Horse Show program where she competed at district, state, and at the Southern Regional Championship Horse Show. She also competed in Oklahoma High School Rodeo and National Little Britches. Through her time in 4-H and FFA, Haven learned the importance of hard work, perseverance and giving back. She has learned through injuries and through the sport of rodeo that nothing comes easy. But, if you work hard and don’t give up you can do whatever you set your mind to.

Why do you want to be Miss Rodeo USA 2021?

A rodeo ambassador embodies the responsibility to create a direct line of communication and connection for the spectators in the stands. And to help those fans gain a better understanding for the competitors and the livestock. It is important to have someone who can be there to provide reliable information through varies forms of communication. Through previous experiences I have had the opportunity to endorse the sport of rodeo through social media, which I would continue to do if the opportunity arises. Being able to educate fans and children about the rodeo industry is vital to the future of rodeo. Diligence and determination were fundamental element for myself while growing up. And I would present a positive role model for the future competitors of rodeo with the characteristics that I have developed to provide a prominent example. My commitment would make me a beneficial member of the Miss Rodeo USA tradition.
