Kylee Campbell
Miss West Point Rodeo
Hazel Green, AL
Age: 19

The 2020 West Point Rodeo crown is proudly worn by Kylee Campbell, hailing from ‘The Rocket City,’ Huntsville, Alabama. Recognizing that her passions, formed at a young age, were nurtured through mentoring relationships, she has developed her platform by which she lives her life, “Mentoring Matters.” Kylee hopes to both model and share this philosophy as Miss Rodeo USA.

As a student at The University of Alabama, Kylee is on the Dean’s List as well as competing on the school’s western equestrian team as a reining and horsemanship competitor. Kylee plans to graduate with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Agricultural-Business. Her ultimate goal is to develop a non-profit business with a focus in mentoring thru equine competition. Kylee has successfully shown horses for 10 years with multiple national breed associations in the all around classes. She plans to continue her equine endeavors to the rodeo arena in barrel racing and break away roping with the guidance of her mentors- because “Mentoring Matters!”

Why do you want to be Miss Rodeo USA 2021?

I am fortunate to live in the Southeast, where some of the finest rodeos are represented by the International Professional Rodeo Association and Miss Rodeo USA.  My first encounter with a Miss Rodeo USA left me awestruck by her poise and knowledge. As an 11 year old, horse centric girl, the passion she showed for rodeo peeked my interest. With the help of rodeo friends and mentors, I became a rodeo enthusiast. Quickly, I turned from rodeo enthusiast to a rodeo ambassador, honing my skills and sharing my passion with those outside of the rodeo world. For example, despite living within city limits I persuaded many schoolmates to attend local rodeos.  At local and national level horse shows, I could be found practicing with my rope between western pleasure classes, which always led to conversations about upcoming rodeos.

Becoming MRUSA 2021 would not only honor me with the privilege of serving the IPRA, but would also allow the opportunity to share the important value of mentoring, because ‘Mentoring Matters!’
