Miss Lincoln Riding Club Rodeo

Why do you want to be Miss Rodeo USA?

Rodeo has been an influential part of my life for as long as I can remember. First it was going to see ‘all the pretty horses’ at the local rodeo when I was a little girl, and then as I got older, it was spending my time trying to ride just like the cowboys and cowgirls competing did so that one day I could compete too. Today, it is striving to be the best representative I can be for this sport and the way of life that accompanies it. Along the way, I have developed a deep respect and admiration not just

for the competitors, but for all the people who have ever made rodeo possible. Being granted the title of Miss Rodeo USA would be an incredible honor, for now I would have the opportunity to give of myself to them and the sport we hold so dear to our hearts. With this title, I would be able to educate others on rodeo and the people that make it happen. Furthermore, this western heritage is an important part of America’s pastime and should be cherished, and I will be in a position to inspire countless others to do this. If chosen as Miss Rodeo USA, I promise to represent myself, the western heritage, and the IPRA with poise, respect, and grace, and be as great an influence on rodeo as it has been on my life.
