Miss Rodeo USA proudly recognizes the outstanding designs of Nellie Hill of Nell’s Creations and Sharon Sellers of Sharon’s Leather for our February designer’s showcase.

Year after year, Nellie Hill of Nell’s Creations has designed a one of a kind custom leather creation for the new Miss Rodeo USA to commemorate her year. Out of Smithville, Texas, Nellie prides herself in creating a piece complementary of the young lady designing it. Nellie works so hard to combine a little of the old west and the new western vogue to create a breath taking design each time it is seen. I am so fortunate to call Texas home and have spent a great deal of time with this wonderful and talented woman. Nellie is not only a spectacular designer, but a true friend as well. I encourage you to give Nellie a call to discuss the endless possibilities for your design toll free at (800).218.6113, email her at nellscreations@yahoo.com, or drop by and visit with her at 113 Main Street in Smithville, Texas 78957. Thank you Nellie for your support and kindness!

One lady that I consider to be so instrumental for my year is Sharon Sellers of Sharon’s Leather. Though I have not had the privilege to meet Sharon, she has truly

made my year magnificent. Sharon generously donates her time, hard work and creativity to construct a gorgeous pair of chaps for the new Miss Rodeo USA each year. The chaps Sharon created for me are so special because they are the first pair of chaps I have ever owned. Although I have competed in rodeo queen pageants for many years, I have never had a pair of chaps to wear. So it just added to the moment of my being announced during the final performance of IFR 35 as Miss Rodeo USA to have my chaps on. Sharon creates custom show and rodeo chaps exactly to your preference. Check out her website at www.sharonsleather.com to see more of her outstanding designs. To order your chaps you can contact Sharon at (641).488.2250, email her at sharleat@netins.net, or drop by and see her at 507 North Debuque Street in Albion, Iowa 5005-9654.

Again, a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart and the former Miss Rodeo USA’s for your undying support in making this the best year of our lives. Check back next month for a new designer’s showcase!
